Voortman Foundation Scholarship

Harry and Ann Voortman have a strong commitment to Christian education rooted in the Reformed tradition and a deep conviction that Christian education is important. They believe that Calvin, along with other Christian institutions, plays a vital role in shaping young hearts and minds to be God’s hands and feet in His kingdom. Mr. and Mrs. Voortman hope that this scholarship will give students from Ontario, Canada, the opportunity to obtain a higher education rooted in the reformed Christian faith.

Basic criteria:

• entering freshman, sophomore, junior or senior year (preference to entering freshman)
• from Ontario, Canada
• financial need is considered

Renewal criteria: Students who wish to be considered for renewal must file a new application each year and will be given equal consideration with other candidates.
