Merle J. and Arnola J. Prins Family Presidential Scholarship

Merle and Arnola Prins and their family have had a long-standing commitment to Christian education at all levels and have witnessed its tremendous impact on their lives. They established this scholarship in deep gratitude to God for His faithfulness across the generations. They recognize that Calvin has maintained its integrity in an ever-changing world and they hope that this scholarship will help ensure that young people can continue to take advantage of the distinctively Christian learning opportunities offered at Calvin.

Basic criteria:

• entering freshman year
• cumulative high school GPA of 3.85 or higher for incoming students; cumulative Calvin GPA of 3.50 or higher for current students
• Presidential Scholarship recipient
• preference is given to students from Holland Christian High School in Holland, MI
• financial need is not required

Renewal criteria: This scholarship is automatically renewable with a cumulative GPA of 3.50 or higher. Renewal is subject to funding availability.
