Emerson Family Scholarship

Mr. and Mrs. James Emerson of Santa Barbara, CA, established this scholarship to aid students. Prospective students are considered as well as current students. Primary factors in the selection are the student’s academic record, motivation, potential, and financial need.

Basic criteria:

• entering freshman, sophomore, junior or senior year
• cumulative GPA of 2.50 or higher
• majoring in accounting, business, economics, nursing, pre-medical, pre-dental, biochemistry, biology, chemistry, English, finance, math, physics, philosophy, or computer science
• financial need is considered
• first preference given to applicants who are members of a traditionally reformed theology church

Renewal criteria: Students who wish to be considered for renewal must file a new application each year and will be given equal consideration with other candidates.
