Roger and Sandra Alderink Family Scholarship

Mr. Roger and Mrs. Sandra Alderink, formerly of Jenison, established this scholarship for graduates of Unity Christian High School in Hudsonville, MI, and South Christian High School in Byron Center, MI, as a way of supporting those who have the desire and vision to excel in a Christ-centered education.

Basic criteria:

  • entering freshman year
  • graduate of Unity Christian High School (Hudsonville) or South Christian High School (Byron Center). It is preferred that the Unity Christian High School recipient is also a member of Ridgewood CRC (Jenison, MI).
  • demonstrate a reformed faith commitment as evidenced by involvement in church, school, or other Christian organizations and activities
  • posses a strong desire, determination and will to use their faith in their selected career
  • financial need is not required

Renewal criteria: This scholarship is automatically renewable with a cumulative GPA of 2.50 or higher (sophomore year only). Renewal is subject to funding availability.
