Bea and Terry Pheifer Music Scholarship

Mrs. Bea and Dr. Terry Pheifer established this scholarship for a music major or minor out of their great respect and joy of music over the years with their family. Each of their children attended Calvin and interacted with music during their time at Calvin and continue to engage with music in their personal lives. This lifelong involvement with music as a family motivates Bea and Terry to initiate this scholarship to encourage students at Calvin to pursue a music major or minor.

Basic criteria:

• entering freshman, sophomore, junior or senior year
• pursuing a music major or music minor
• financial need is not required

Renewal criteria: Students who wish to be considered for renewal must file a new application each year and will be given equal consideration with other candidates.
