William and Lois Venema Pre-Dental Scholarship

Having met at Calvin, had all three of their daughters graduate from Calvin and now with grandchildren attending, Dr. William and Mrs. Lois Venema established this scholarship in gratitude for the school and their hope for its future.

Basic criteria:

• entering junior or senior year
• cumulative GPA of 3.00 or higher
• pursuing the pre-dental program
• demonstrate Christian character, promise of growth, and participation and leadership in activities outside the classroom such as church, community, and extra-curricular school activities
• financial need is considered

Renewal criteria: This scholarship is automatically renewable if the recipient is making satisfactory academic progress and if they still qualify for the pre-dental program (senior year only). Renewal is subject to funding availability.
