Vermeer Charitable Foundation Scholarship

The Vermeer Charitable Foundation of Pella, IA, has a long association with Calvin and has been a strong supporter of Christian education both at Calvin and at the Pella Christian Schools. They have made contributions to Calvin that will be used to award scholarships to students from Pella Christian High School attending or planning to attend Calvin as well as to other students at Calvin University.

Basic criteria:

• entering freshman year
• cumulative GPA of 3.00 or higher
• from the Pella, IA community
• demonstrate Christian character, promise of growth, and participation and leadership in activities outside the classroom such as church, community, and extra-curricular school activities
• financial need is not required

Renewal criteria: This scholarship is automatically renewable with a cumulative GPA of 3.00 or higher. Renewal is subject to funding availability.
