The Potter's House Scholarship

This scholarship was established by an alumni family who has been blessed by experiences at both The Potter’s House School and Calvin College. God’s blessing to the donors motivates this scholarship.

Basic criteria:

• entering freshman year
• graduate of The Potter’s House High School in Grand Rapids, MI
• preference given to an underrepresented population at Calvin University who can also represent the college to prospective students at The Potter’s House
• it is expected that the recipient of this scholarship be mentored by an employee at Calvin University with first preference being the admissions counselors for The Potter’s House. The recipient agrees to this arrangement for two years. It is expected that the recipient will collaborate with the mentor to pursue appropriate ways to volunteer at The Potter’s House and thereby represent Calvin University to the current Potter’s House student body. This arrangement will take a form that is in line with the gifts of the recipient.

Renewal criteria: This scholarship is automatically renewable if the recipient is making satisfactory academic progress (three years only). Renewal is subject to funding availability.
