Norma J. Veldkamp Teacher Scholarship
This scholarship is awarded in memory of Norma J. Veldkamp, a 1948 graduate of Calvin University. Born and raised on a farm in rural Michigan, Norma came to Calvin as a first-gen student and met her future husband, Bill. She studied education and became a teacher before leaving the profession to devote her time to raising her five children. At Calvin Norma made many lifelong friends while deepening her relationship with Christ. Norma was a faithful servant who loved and cared for everyone and treasured her Calvin education. The Norma J.
