Judy and John Spoelhof Family Scholarship

Judy and John Spoelhof and their family are deeply committed to Christian education from preschool through college. This four-generation Calvin family believes in the college’s Christ-centered education, and would like to bless students from Holland Christian High School with the opportunity to attend. It is the hope of the Spoelhof family that this scholarship will allow a student to attend Calvin who otherwise might not have been able to do so.

Basic criteria:

• entering freshman year
• cumulative GPA of 3.00 or higher
• graduate of Holland Christian High School in Holland, MI
• demonstrate Christian character, promise of growth, and participation and leadership in activities outside the classroom such as church, community, and extra-curricular activities
• financial need is considered

Renewal criteria: This scholarship is automatically renewable if the recipient is making satisfactory academic progress (three years only). Renewal is subject to funding availability.
