Robert J. Reimink/Prein&Newhof Scholarship

This scholarship was established by the engineering firm of Prein&Newhof in Grand Rapids, MI, as a memorial to Robert J. Reimink, a Calvin alumnus and a key engineer at the firm who died of cancer in 1994 at the age of 38. Prein&Newhof has several Calvin alumni employed at the firm, and the company wishes to encourage engineering students who are pursuing a Christian liberal arts education.

Basic criteria:

  • entering junior or senior year
  • cumulative GPA of 3.00 or higher
  • pursuing a program in civil engineering
  • financial need is considered

Renewal criteria: Students who wish to be considered for renewal must file a new application each year and will be given equal consideration with other candidates.
