Leon and Louise Koops Family Scholarship

Leon and Louise Koops established this scholarship as supporters of Christian education, both at Holland Christian Schools and Calvin University. In recognition of God’s faithfulness over the years with three generations of their family having attended and graduated from Holland Christian and Calvin University, they express their gratitude for the scholarships their children and grandchildren have received and benefited from over the years while attending Calvin. They hope this scholarship will in a small way assist future students attending Calvin University.

Basic criteria:

• entering freshman year
• cumulative GPA of 3.00 or higher
• financial need is required
• first preference will be given to a graduate of Holland Christian High School. If no students meet this preference in a given year, other students from West Michigan may be considered.

Renewal criteria: This scholarship is automatically renewable for up to three years if the student continues to make satisfactory academic progress. Renewal is subject to funding availability.
