Charlotte E. Veenstra Special Education Scholarship

Arielle ’17 and Adrienne ’15 Veenstra established this scholarship to honor their dear aunt, Charlotte E. Veenstra, who was passionate about Calvin and education. For over 40 years, Charlotte was a teacher and volunteer in schools, as well as a life-long learner and choir member at Calvin. Her love for and dedication to special education and Calvin made it clear that they could honor her memory by encouraging and supporting others who share her calling.

Basic criteria:

  • entering junior or senior year
  • special education major
  • financial need is considered

Renewal criteria: Students who wish to be considered for renewal must file a new application each year and will be given equal consideration with other candidates.
