Gertrude Ellens Mulder Memorial Nursing Scholarship

Dr. Donald W. Mulder, along with others, established this scholarship in loving memory of his wife, Gertrude. Through unwavering dedication, Gertrude pursued her education and found her calling in caring for the sick and afflicted. As a nurse, she mastered the medical arts of healing to a surprisingly sophisticated degree. To honor Gertrude, this scholarship will provide funding for students in need of financial support to pursue or continue their nursing education at Calvin.

Basic criteria:

• entering junior or senior year
• pursuing a degree in nursing
• financial need is considered

Renewal criteria: This scholarship is automatically renewable if the recipient is in good academic standing. Renewal is subject to funding availability.
