A. Donald Vroon Scholarship for Physical Education

The family of A. Donald Vroon established this scholarship to honor the life, work and convictions of Professor Don Vroon who died in 2003 after attending, competing, teaching and coaching at Calvin for 46 years. This scholarship is a memorial to his life and his desire to continue to learn about the saving grace of Jesus Christ.

Basic criteria:

• entering junior or senior year
• cumulative GPA of 2.50 or higher
• pursuing a major or minor in kinesiology and/or recreation with an interest in coaching
• financial need is required

Renewal criteria: Students who wish to be considered for renewal must file a new application each year and will be given equal consideration with other candidates.
