Donald and Marie Boersma Family Scholarship in Social Work

The Boersma family have long believed that well-trained Christian social workers are critical to meet the needs of disadvantaged and hurting people. The family established this scholarship to recognize a promising student in the Bachelor of Social Work Program.

Basic criteria:

• entering junior year
• cumulative GPA of 3.00 or higher
• pursuing a major in social work
• demonstrate financial need

Renewal criteria: This scholarship is automatically renewable with a cumulative GPA of 2.50 or higher (senior year only). Renewal is subject to funding availability.
