Myrna Suparta - Bernard Huang Scholarship

Myrna Suparta, who is originally from Indonesia, went to Calvin College during the economic crisis in Asia. She felt very blessed by the donors who contributed to her scholarships during her school years at Calvin so that she could graduate, find a job and become a CPA. As a token of appreciation, Myrna, and her husband Bernard Huang, would like to help Calvin students with similar backgrounds. They established this scholarship to encourage minority students who are majoring in business or economics.

Basic criteria:

• entering junior or senior year
• cumulative GPA of 3.00 or higher
• business or economics major
• international student
• financial need is required

Renewal criteria: This scholarship is not renewable.
