Gordon and Joyce Van Beek Scholarship

This scholarship was established to express the gratitude of Gordon and Joyce Van Beek of Spring Lake, MI, for God’s many blessings throughout their lives. Mr. Van Beek and three of his children attended Calvin College. Mr. and Mrs. Van Beek have volunteered countless hours serving their church and other charitable organizations.

Basic criteria:

• entering sophomore, junior, or senior year
• cumulative GPA of 3.00 or higher
• planning to pursue a career in banking or sales
• financial need is considered
• preference will be given to students who demonstrate a commitment to serving others by participating in volunteer activities in the community

Renewal criteria: Students who wish to be considered for renewal must file a new application each year and will be given equal consideration with other candidates.
