George and Gayle Hommes Family Scholarship

This scholarship was established by George and Gayle Hommes of Fairhope, AL, in honor and remembrance of their parents, George and Clara (VanderLaan) Hommes and Walter and Nelle (DeWit) Wagner.

Basic criteria:

• entering freshman, sophomore, junior or senior year
• cumulative GPA of 2.80 or higher
• pursuing a business or nursing major (business includes majors in economics, accounting, computer science or related fields)
• financial need is considered

Renewal criteria: This scholarship is automatically renewable if the student maintains a cumulative GPA of 2.80 or higher. Renewal is subject to funding availability.
