Mark and Kristine Huizenga Business Scholarship

Mark ’90 and Kristine Huizenga established this scholarship to provide an opportunity for a student who wants to pursue a business career and may not qualify for other academic scholarships. They feel GPA is not the only indicator of success. It is their hope to encourage graduates of Calvin Christian High School in Grandville, MI, and other West Michigan Christian high schools to attend Calvin University.

Basic criteria:

• entering freshman year
• cumulative GPA between a 2.70 and 3.20
• graduate of Calvin Christian High School in Grandville, MI
• first preference will be given to a student interested in pursuing a career in business
• financial need is considered

Renewal criteria: Students who wish to be considered for renewal must file a new application each year and will be given equal consideration with other candidates.
