John M. V. Koole in Memory of Nelle and Sue Miller Scholarship

This scholarship was established by Rev. John M.V. Koole to honor the memory of his aunts Nelle and Sue Miller, and of his parents Peter and Margaret Koole. Rev. Koole is a graduate of Calvin and served his entire professional career as a minister in the Christian Reformed Church serving various churches in Canada. This scholarship is designated for students from the Eastern Seaboard since that is where the Molesteeg/Millers and Kooles lived.

Basic criteria:

• entering freshman year
• cumulative GPA of 3.00 or higher
• resident of one of the states or provinces along the Eastern Seaboard
• financial need is required
• if the above criteria are met, preference will be given to students who have been active in church, community, and/or extracurricular activities

Renewal criteria: This scholarship is not renewable.
