Harris Family Scholarship

George and Ina Harris moved from Canada as a young couple so George could pursue his education at Calvin College. That set a course for George’s career in higher education and their lifelong participation in Calvin community. In George’s words: "Our great purpose in life is to serve Christ in his kingdom.” The Harris family established this scholarship to assist students from Canada to likewise begin their education at Calvin University.

Basic criteria:

• entering freshman year
• cumulative GPA of 3.00 or higher
• from Canada
• financial need is considered

Renewal criteria: Students who wish to be considered for renewal must file a new application each year and will be given equal consideration with other candidates.
