Lawrence D. Bos, Sr. Family Scholarship

Mr. Lawrence D. Bos, Sr. and his family established this scholarship to recognize and encourage deserving students in the field of business to promote responsible Christian capitalism in their business life and in the contributions to the economic well-being of their community. Mr. Bos has spent his entire career in life insurance, and is presently a partner in Lawrence D. Bos and Co. which represents Northwestern Mutual and other leading life insurance companies.

Basic criteria:

• entering junior or senior year
• cumulative GPA of 3.50 or higher
• pursuing a degree in business
• financial need is considered
• if the above criteria is met, preference will be given to those planning to enter the life insurance field

Renewal criteria: Students who wish to be considered for renewal must file a new application each year and will be given equal consideration with other candidates.
