Susan Dykstra Memorial Scholarship

Tom and Lois Dykstra established this scholarship in memory of their daughter Susan Beth (1961-2019). Sue, who graduated with an English major from Calvin (’83) loved to read and had a career in the production and marketing of scholarly books, particularly in the field of medieval literature. This scholarship is intended for an English major with a love for good books.

Basic criteria:

• entering junior or senior year
• pursuing an English major
• financial need is considered
• first preference will be given to students who are interested in medieval studies

Renewal criteria: Students who wish to be considered for renewal must file a new application each year and will be given equal consideration with other candidates.
