Janet Andre' Bootsma Scholarship for Women Students in Business

Jan (nee Roelfsema) Bootsma, an alumna of Calvin with a degree in medical technology, was blessed by God with an entrepreneurial mind and a calling to the world of for-profit business, with a generous heart for not-for-profit organizations. She wishes to encourage young women to pursue their interests and calling in business and to enter the entrepreneurial world of self-employment.

Basic criteria:

• entering junior or senior year
• cumulative GPA of 3.00 or higher
• majoring in business
• female
• demonstrate a strong desire to be involved in the for-profit business area
• financial need as defined by government programs is required

Renewal criteria: This scholarship is automatically renewable with a cumulative GPA of 3.00 or higher. Renewal is subject to funding availability.
