Art Wierenga Family Health Sciences Scholarship

This scholarship was established by Arthur Wierenga to assist students who intend to pursue a health science career and have a desire to actively use this knowledge to help others in either short or long-term medical missions.

Basic criteria:

• entering sophomore, junior or senior year
• pursuing a program in any of the pre-professional health sciences
• financial need is considered
• students demonstrating an interest in medical missions may receive special consideration

Renewal criteria: Students who wish to be considered for renewal must file a new application each year and will be given equal consideration with other candidates.
