Botting Family Scholarship

All three of Robert and Jean Botting’s sons were students at Calvin University at the same time for one year of their respective four-year college careers. This experience brought home to them the blessings of financial aid for families and students, particularly families with multiple children attending a college or university at the same time. This scholarship is intended to help families who face the same challenge they did years ago.

Basic criteria:

• entering freshman, sophomore, junior or senior year
• first preference is for undergraduate students who have siblings also attending Calvin University. A family with three or more Calvin students is preferred, although families with two Calvin students will also be considered.
• financial need is considered

Renewal criteria: Students who wish to be considered for renewal must file a new application each year and will be given equal consideration with other candidates.
