Dr. David H. and Mrs. Iren Freeman Memorial Scholarship

This scholarship was established by John Freeman through an estate gift from his parents Dr. David H. and Mrs. Iren Freeman in their memory and in appreciation of the importance of Calvin to them and his family. This award will support Calvin students majoring in philosophy or religion who demonstrate outstanding academic achievement, integrity, leadership and continuing promise in philosophy or religion as determined by the Philosophy or Religion Departments.

Basic criteria:

• entering senior year
• cumulative GPA of 3.00 or higher
• majoring in religion or philosophy
• demonstrate outstanding achievement and continuing promise in their major
• financial aid is considered

Renewal criteria: This scholarship is not renewable.
