Bruce and Sharon Vrieland Family Engineering Scholarship

Sharon Vrieland established this scholarship as a memorial in memory of her husband Bruce Calvin Vrieland. The Vrieland’ „¢s have celebrated five generations of Calvin graduates. Bruce, Bruce’ „¢s mother and brothers, Sharon, Sharon’ „¢s grandmother, and their son Jeffrey Marc Vrieland have all attended Calvin. Sharon’ „¢s grandson AJ Vrieland is currently a Calvin University senior. Sharon wants to provide an opportunity for another student to attend Calvin.

Basic criteria:

• entering sophomore, junior, or senior year
• majoring in engineering
• financial need is considered

Renewal criteria: Students who wish to be considered for renewal must file a new application each year and will be given equal consideration with other candidates.
