Daren and Renee D'Ippolito Scholarship

This scholarship was established by Daren & Renee D’Ippolito who are Calvin graduates having pursued French as a major and minor respectively. They have a passion for helping to equip students to engage an ever increasingly connected world, especially those pursuing French as a major or minor. This scholarship is meant to encourage students to learn more about French and francophone language and cultures through an interim or semester abroad study program supported by the French Department.

Basic criteria:

  • entering sophomore, junior, or senior year
  • planning on participating in a semester-long study abroad program or an interim abroad program supported by the French Department
  • demonstrate a strong interest in the French language and culture
  • financial need is considered
  • first preference will be given to students participating in a trip to Haiti

Renewal criteria: This scholarship is not renewable.
