Harriet De Jong Memorial Scholarship

Dale and Marcia Cooper established this scholarship to honor the memory of Marcia’s mother and to assist a student in the Congregational and Ministry Studies Department. “Grandma D”, as they affectionately called her, deeply loved each of her children and grandchildren and worked tirelessly to help them receive a Christian higher education.

Basic criteria:

• entering sophomore, junior, or senior year
• declared minor in ministry leadership
• financial need is considered

Renewal criteria: Students who wish to be considered for renewal must file a new application each year and will be given equal consideration with other candidates.
