Adelene Haverhals Scholarship in Memory of Dorothy Otter

This scholarship was established by Adelene Haverhals in memory of Dorothy Otter. Both Adelene and Dorothy spent a part of their professional careers teaching in Christian schools. The purpose of this scholarship is to encourage students to pursue a Christian college education at Calvin and to utilize the gifts and talents God has given them to glorify Him.

Basic criteria:

  • entering freshman year
  • cumulative GPA of 3.00 or higher
  • graduate of Lynden Christian High School in Lynden, WA
  • demonstrate strong Christian character
  • financial need is considered

Renewal criteria: This scholarship is not renewable.
