Jack and Laurie Harkema Scholarship

Jack and Laurie Harkema established this scholarship for students in semester-long study abroad programs to encourage awareness of, and appreciation for other cultures, and to cultivate understanding of the many people in God’s world. Both of their daughters benefitted from experiences like this, and it is their hope that other students may benefit as well through this scholarship.

Basic criteria:

  • entering sophomore, junior, or senior year
  • cumulative GPA of 3.20 or higher
  • planning on participating in a semester-long study abroad program
  • financial need is considered

Renewal criteria: This scholarship is not renewable.
