Woodlawn Christian Reformed Church

The Woodlawn Christian Reformed Church of Grand Rapids, Michigan has established this scholarship to support and encourage student enrollment at Calvin University. Two scholarships are awarded each year, one to a North American student and one to an international student The scholarship is for students who demonstrate a personal commitment to Christ and his church. Other factors considered in the selection are the student’s academic record, Christian character, and financial need. The church desires to get to know the recipients and welcomes an opportunity to meet them during the school year and spend time in worship together.

The scholarship is for students who demonstrate a personal commitment to Christ and his church and must be a North American student who has overcome educational, social, or economic barriers in pursuit of higher education or a student from a country other than North America, with preference given to a student from a third-world country. Other factors considered in the selection are the student’s academic record, Christian character, and financial need.

The church desires to get to know the recipients and welcomes an opportunity to meet them during the school year and spend time in worship together.
