Wilhemina Kalsbeek Family

The family and friends of Wilhemina Kalsbeek established a fund in memory of her and her missionary work in the Christian Reformed Church Mission to China from 1922 until 1949. Originally the fund was established for the purpose of providing a Christian education for two adopted war orphans who returned to the United States with Miss Kalsbeek. In 1985 the Memorial Fund Board of Trustees donated the assets of the Fund to Calvin College for endowment of a scholarship for students from mainland China. The purpose of the scholarship is to assist with a Christian college education for students from mainland China who in turn can bring the Christian faith to the Chinese people.
