Sidney and Gladys Draayer

This scholarship was established in memory of Kenneth F. Draayer by his family and friends. Ken was a prominent businessman in the Kalamazoo, Michigan, area who passed away in January 2006, at the age of 45. His Christian faith was evident in his integrity in his business dealings, in his concern for quality work, and in his emphasis on customer service. By his actions, Ken thoroughly displayed his understanding of God’s calling him to be a Christian witness to those with whom he interacted. Therefore, the family would like this scholarship to be awarded to a student who exemplifies these Christian characteristics and who is willing to put his or her faith on display in answering God’s call to kingdom service.
