Ronald and Patsy Kooistra

Ron and Patsy Kooistra have established this scholarship in recognition of the influence Calvin has had on their extended family. The Kooistra family has a rich heritage of attending Calvin College, as seven Kooistra siblings, as well as many of their children, nieces and nephews, graduated from Calvin. The family appreciates the broader liberal arts education and distinctly Christian approach that takes place at Calvin, especially in the fields of engineering and nursing. The Kooistras wish to help engineering and nursing students who are looking for a Christian college where they will be prepared to follow their calling.
