Richard and Susan Strikwerda

This scholarship was established by Drs. Richard and Susan Strikwerda to help Calvin students who plan to enter the health professions of medicine, dentistry and physical therapy. Richard and Susan met at Calvin, graduated with degrees in biology and went on to both graduate from the University of Michigan School of Dentistry. Two of their children have also graduated from Calvin as biology majors and are currently in medical and physical therapy schools. They are interested in helping students pursue similar goals.
