Plamena Haralakova Marmon and Sam Marmon

The Haralakova Family Scholarship was established by Plamena (Pam) Haralakova ’05 to honor her grandmother Penka who passed away in 2007. Her grandma believed in the value of higher education, even though she only had finished eighth grade. Penka encouraged her grandchildren to pursue excellence and to take advantage of the opportunities presented to them. Pam wants to encourage a student majoring in business who exhibits an entrepreneurial spirit with this family scholarship.
