McQueen Data Science Scholarship

The McQueen data science scholarship was established in 2023 by Carl and Katie McQueen to nurture the next generation of data science professionals who embody a strong ethical framework. Carl McQueen, originally a non-traditional student, discovered his fervor for data while employed at a prominent brokerage firm. His career journey has led him to apply data science in both non-profit and for-profit sectors committed to meaningful causes. Recognizing the powerful influence of a Christian education in ethical data practice, Carl and Katie are offering this scholarship to students who share a similar vision. The ideal candidate should be committed to employing their data science skills in a manner that aligns with Christian values of empathy and love for one’s neighbor. Recipients are also invited to interview for an internship position at McQueen Analytics, providing them with hands-on experience and industry insights.
