Laurie Ellen Mervenne Nursing Scholarship

Recognizing the need for qualified nurses in the West Michigan area and beyond, Laurie Mervenne is establishing this scholarship to encourage young men and women to pursue the field of nursing in a Christ-center, educationally excellent environment at Calvin College. This scholarship also recognizes and honors the work of Laurie’s daughter, Gwen, a Calvin alumna who achieved her B.S.N. degree and, upon graduation, began working in the Critical Care Unit of St. Mary’s Hospital in Grand Rapids, MI.
