Karyn and Dan DeKorne

The Trademark Scholarship was created in hopes to challenge students to begin to think about what defines them, makes them different and how – - in a world of followers, copycats and shortcuts – - they will use their education, skills and values to stand out and ultimately succeed in the business world. Karyn and Dan DeKorne (’06) valued their time as students in the business department at Calvin College. Upon owning their own businesses, they would like to support students focusing on the areas of marketing, entrepreneurship, and small business, as well as provide a mentoring relationship and possible internship for the recipient of this scholarship.
