Joseph and Ralph Gelmer Vander Laan Scholarship

The Vander Laan family established this scholarship in memory of brothers Joseph and Ralph Gelmer Vander Laan. These scholarships are one-year scholarships awarded to top students at Calvin who will be juniors or seniors next year. At least one is awarded to a student who plans to pursue medical missions; others are awarded to other top students in other fields of interest. Primary factors in the selection are the student’s academic record, Christian character, motivation, and potential.
