John Bolt

John and Ruth Bolt met at Calvin where Ruth was working toward her nursing degree. Ruth was an incredible caregiver and loved nursing. She was one of the first in-home caregivers in the state of Michigan. She worked in hospitals and retirement homes for many years and went on to care for the elderly in their homes. This scholarship is established in her honor and to encourage students who are studying nursing.
