Jack and Kris Ponstine

Jack and Kris Ponstine both graduated from Calvin College and were blessed by the Christ-centered education they received. Since they were children, music has been an important part of their lives. Both Jack and Kris majored in music and met each other while singing in Campus Choir. After graduating, they both used their music gifts in the ministry of a male chorus in the greater Grand Rapids area, with Jack directing and Kris accompanying. Music remains a passion and an enriching part of their lives. In their careers, God provided opportunities for Jack to use his gifts in business and for Kris to use her gifts in teaching in an elementary classroom. They are deeply committed to Christian education and are very thankful for the influence it has had in their lives. They are creating this scholarship out of gratitude to God for Calvin College’s role in their education. It is their hope that the recipients of their scholarship will desire to serve God and impact others in their career, church, and community.
