Howard Van Mersbergen Family

The Howard Van Mersbergen Family has a deep appreciation for the impact Christian education has had in their lives. In establishing this scholarship they want to encourage students to consider a Christian college education. Their hope is that by reflecting on the question “Why a Christian education?” students will gain greater awareness of the significant impact a Christian college education can have. To apply, prospective students should read the article “Educating for Shalom: Our Calling as a Christian College” by Cornelius Plantinga Jr. and write a paragraph or two on the difference a Christian college education can make in their lives.
