Honorable John Feikens Memorial Pre-Law Scholarship

This scholarship was established in honor of U.S. District Court Judge John Feikens and his long and distinguished career as an exemplary Christian lawyer and judge. Judge Feikens, a 1939 graduate, was honored in 1972 as a distinguished alumnus of Calvin College. The establishment of this scholarship was suggested by Calvin President Gaylen Byker who was a law clerk and long-time friend of Judge Feikens. The endowment for this scholarship was funded by the family and estate of the judge, by President Byker and other former law clerks and by friends of the judge.
