Hearing Impaired Scholarship

Numerous members of the Pauw, Plantinga, and Van Harn families and their friends have become aware of and interested in issues surrounding hearing impairment experienced by friends or family members. At the same time, they became interested in supporting Calvin through the Campaign for Calvin College. They have established this fund with the idea of funding scholarships for hearing impaired students and helping fund technological adaptations to Calvin’s facilities that will benefit the hearing impaired. A bequest from the estate of Johanna Paauw funded a generous portion of the initial endowment.
