Hanford I. Lawson

Mr. Hanford Lawson established this scholarship in honor of his wife Hazel, a dedicated wife, mother and volunteer. Since Hazel truly enjoyed teaching young children, this scholarship will be awarded to a student who has an interest in early childhood education. In addition to meeting the other criteria, the recipient will be able to articulate a dependence on the Lord and his guidance according to Proverbs 3:6, “In all your ways acknowledge Him and He will make your paths straight."
