Gordon J. Spykman Family

The family of Gordon J. Spykman establishes this scholarship to honor the life, work, and convictions of their dear husband, brother and father. The Gordon and Eleanor Spykman Memorial Scholarship encourages students to explore the implications of Jesus Christ’s claim on every square inch of creation, in all spheres of life.

Recipients will be religion/theology majors or minors who demonstrate an interest in the reformational worldview that Spykman articulated in his writings and in courses at Calvin College during his 32-year teaching career.
